Meet Dr. Marino
My name is Dr. Anthony J. Marino and I have practiced general dentistry in South St. Louis since 1982. I received a BA in biology at St. Louis and DDS degree from The University of Missouri – Kansas City Dental School. Following graduation, I attended a rigorous General Practice Residency at The Jewish Hospital of St. Louis focusing on advanced oral surgery techniques, implants, hospital dentistry, oral medicine and anesthesia. Upon leaving Jewish Hospital, I opened my practice in 1982 and have acquired many loyal patients in South St. Louis and surrounding areas.
I am an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Missouri Dental Association (MDA), Greater St. Louis Dental Society (GSLDS) and served as the President of The South District of the GSLDS, I am also a member for the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. I was inducted into the International College of Dentistry in September 2018.
As a dentist, I believe that I have a gift to give to others- leading me to pursue my passion for philanthropy. I am on the Board of Directors for Give Kids a Smile, a non-profit organization providing comprehensive dental care for underserved St. Louis children since 2001. In my limited free time, I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren, fishing, hiking, gardening and coaching youth soccer.
